Here is a sampling of some celebrities dressed up in costumes for Halloween as well as other parties. It's fun to see our favorite, and not so favorite, stars decked out in costumes. Keeping with our never ending search for stylish costumes, (Halloween and otherwise), we've selected some of the better ones we've seen. As for those we passed over, those celebrities (you know who you are) should remember, that if you're going to dress up, nothing can ruin your image more easily than wearing a bad, unimaginative costume. So don't settle for being anything less than a Stylish Star! The following stars should give you some inspiration.

Heidi Klum Supermodel Heidi throws an annual Halloween costume party and has been doing so since 1999. Last year she had the best celebrity halloween costume. She came as the goddess Kali which seems fitting for her role in Project Runway.

Paris Hilton Paris is not a shy violet - she loves costumes and wears them often!
